Memphis Arts Moot is gathering of individuals who long to explore the intersection of Faith and the arts. It is a day filled with live music, delicious food, conversation and the telling of great stories across a range of mediums.

We owe a huge debt to The Rabbit Room and were inspired by their yearly gathering in Franklin, TN called Hutchmoot. We will use what we have learned from these groups to create a unique experience for our attendees.

Join us Saturday, April 5th for Memphis Arts Moot 2025.

James E. (Jim) Allman, Jr.’s credentials – degrees in biology and business – qualify him for an altogether different trade. However, he easily tires of the dissected and austerely economized. He is a dabbler with an expensive photography habit and a poetry-dependency. Nominated for three Pushcart Prizes, his work appears, or is forthcoming, in Black Warrior Review, The Literary Review, Nimrod, Phoebe, Prairie Schooner, Sugar House Review, and Third Coast, among others. He has written reviews for Rattle as well as other journals, blogs and sundries and believes language is a holy space.
